By accessing or using Vera Answers ("Vera", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vera Answers provides an AI-powered virtual receptionist service for home service businesses. The Service answers inbound phone calls, captures job intake information, schedules appointments, and sends SMS confirmations on behalf of service companies.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send unsolicited communications (spam)
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Collect personal information without consent

5. SMS Communications

By using the Service, you agree to comply with all applicable SMS messaging regulations including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You are responsible for ensuring your use of Vera's SMS features complies with applicable law, including obtaining proper consent from end users.

6. Call Recording

The Service may record inbound calls for quality assurance and to provide call recordings to service companies. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable call recording laws in your jurisdiction, including notifying callers that calls may be recorded.

7. AI Limitations

Vera is an AI assistant and may make errors. The Service is not a substitute for human judgment in critical situations. You should not rely solely on Vera for emergency response or life-safety situations. Vera Answers LLC is not liable for any errors made by the AI assistant.

8. Payment and Billing

Pricing information is provided at the time of subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Vera Answers LLC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vera Answers LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
